Row New York empowers young people from New York City’s under-resourced communities to pursue excellence in all facets of their lives through a highly structured program of competitive rowing and comprehensive academic support.
Row New York serves hundreds of middle and high school participants in a year-round intensive academic and rowing program, and thousands more in a suite of other programs, including PE classes in NYC public middle schools, summer camps, and para-rowing for athletes with disabilities.
Arbor Rising partnered with the Row New York management team on a number of key deliverables, including:
Financial Model — to monitor fundraising progress, create multiyear budget projections, and track key programmatic outcomes
Communication Materials — to convey RNY’s unique value proposition to prospective funding partners
Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Scorecard — to establish targets for and capture progress in participants’ non-academic skills
Board Management – tools and standards for recruiting, managing, and engaging the organization’s board of directors
