exalt Youth elevates expectations of personal success for youth ages 15-19 who’ve been involved in the criminal justice system.
To disrupt the school-to-prison to pipeline, exalt engages court-involved youth in an intensive three-month curriculum which weaves historical, social, and economic context around tangible skill development. This class experience bookends a two-month, paid internship in which they practice putting their skills into action.
Arbor Rising partnered with the exalt management team on a number of key deliverables, including:
Outcomes Dashboard — including targets and research-informed benchmarks, fed by refined program diagnostics and a robust database
Financial Model — to monitor fundraising progress, create multiyear budget projections, and track key programmatic outcomes
Performance Management System — which established roles, goals, and accountability targets for staff
